    Delhi pollution: Rainfall improves air quality to lower range of ‘very poor’ category; further dip in temperature likely

    Recording the lowest level of pollution this year, the air quality in Delhi improved on Monday but still remained in the ‘very poor’ category, the authorities said, adding rains in the national capital washed away the pollutants and cleansed the air. The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city reached 316, which was in the "very poor" category, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data said.
